1. Click here to launch the application site. It will redirect you to the official Medicare.gov plan finder page.

2. Select the correct plan year (2026 for this year)!

3. Enter your ZIP code.

4. Choose “Part D” when asked which type of coverage you’re looking for, and click “find plans.”

5. When asked about help from savings programs, select “No, I don’t get help.”

6. When asked if you want to look at or compare drug costs, select “No.” We have already done that for you.

7. Find the carrier your agent recommended, then click apply next to that carrier name, and choose your specific recommended plan from the list.

8. Once the enrollment period (Oct 15th –Dec 7th) opens, an “Enroll Now” button will appear alongside the plan. click it to begin your applications. Applications require basic information, such as your name, address, and Medicare ID number.

9. Once you submit and save your confirmation, the system will generate a PDF receipt for your records.

That’s it! From there, Medicare will alert your new carrier to send you your new ID card and policy packet. If you already had a part D plan, Medicare will also alert that carrier to cancel your old plan.
