How to Enroll in Benefits Using Employee Navigator
It’s time for your employer’s enrollment period, and we’ve created this guide to help you navigate enrolling in benefits through Employee Navigator. We will have already contacted you for the preliminary information needed to set up your account. Once you have provided us with that information, you will receive a registration link for the following steps.
Once you receive your registration email from Employee Navigator, use the link to log in and create your account.
Once logged in, the home screen will show buttons for enrollment and personal info updates. On the open enrollment screen, click the green Start button.
Review the personal information that has already been added, and add any missing details, such as address. If you have any dependents you will be covering, such as a spouse or children, add their information into the system.
Adding dependents does not mean you have to enroll them, but it will allow the system to calculate accurate pricing and make them eligible for enrollment later on.
The first benefit that will pop up is medical benefits, which shows the plans available to you through your employer. Here you can compare and review plan benefits, and make your selection. If you have any additional questions about the plans, please get in touch.
The price of medical will change based on the number of dependents you select for enrollment. Please note these numbers already include any employer contributions you are eligible for, and that the price shown is per pay period.
Once you choose to either select or waive medical benefits, the next election will be dental. Dental rates will also be calculated based on pay period and any dependents you select to enroll. You can review plan details via the same button, and choose to enroll or waive dental coverage.
Vision elections will be next, following the same format of pricing, with employees able to waive or elect.
Certain companies offer employer-paid short-term and long-term disability. If you qualify, you will be automatically enrolled, and the details of this benefit will come after the vision page.
Once you reach the enrollment summary, you will need to sign for your benefits to be official. Take a moment to review and make sure your benefits are showing up as expected. The total cost per pay period will be listed at the bottom of the page.
Once you have signed, you will still have the rest of the open enrollment period to make any changes to your elections in your Employee Navigator homepage. Some companies may have additional benefits not listed here, with pricing and plan information available in your specific portal.
