Christmas in July

Let’s celebrate! It is Christmas in July over here at The Insurance People. Why are we celebrating early? At The Insurance People, the holiday season usually means one thing for us, OPEN ENROLLMENT. November and December we have our head to the ground helping everyone sign up for insurance, leaving little time to even breathe. That's why we're bringing Christmas a little early this year!

Our team never passes up an opportunity to throw on a festive costume for a run or walk event, especially if we get to support an incredible cause while we’re at it. On July 18th, we’ll be participating in the Christmas in July 5k and Half-Marathon (Alexandra's running obsession is still going strong), and given the theme, this seemed like the perfect excuse to have some fun while spreading holiday cheer.

As part of this event, we're raising money and collecting gifts for a wonderful family through Let It Be Us, an organization dedicated to finding loving homes for children in foster care and providing adoption support throughout Illinois. The family we're sponsoring worked with Let It Be Us to foster and eventually adopt six incredible children, many of whom have special needs. We've created a gift registry filled with items the family shared through Let It Be Us.

Whether you purchase a gift or simply donate $10 towards a gift card, every contribution makes a difference. Small acts of generosity add up quickly, and together we can help make a memorable Christmas in July for this amazing family.
